International Emerging Scholars Society (IESS) provides financial support for academic research projects which have the potential to be applied in the field of financial technology and sustainability. Papers that have been already presented at major academic conferences such as the American Finance Association, the European Finance Association or the Western Finance Association are not eligible for funding by IESS.

Three grants of NZD 5000 each are available and payment will be made directly to the researcher.

Requirements:

Should hold a current membership of IESS (i.e. student, faculty, or professional) Join IESS (if you have published with IJBM, you can get 50% discount on normal membership fees. Send an email to contact@iessociety.org to get discount code.
Be the principal investigator of the funded project
Project has’t received any other funding
Presentation of the research project on completion

The interested applicants can send their research proposal and CV to researchsupport@iessociety.com by 25 September 2024.

The committee will make the decision by 2 December 2024. Only selected applicants will be contacted. The preference will be given to the projects that has potential of publication in top journals. The committee decision will be final.

Call for editorial review board members

The editorial team at International Journal of Business and Management (EISSN: 2815-9330) is currently seeking new Editorial Review Board Members with the passion to drive the journal forward in an exciting period of development. It is a significant role that will require active engagement with the journal and author community, including assisting with manuscript evaluation and peer review.

The role of the Editorial Review Board Member (ERBM) is to act as an ambassador for the journal, working closely with the Editor in Chief (EIC) and Associate Editors (AEs) to promote the journal content and engage with the journal’s reader and author community. Members of the review board will be asked to champion the journal and help us to maintain and improve the Journal’s standards and quality by meeting the following expectations:

Attend virtual Editorial Board meetings (approx. once annually)
Agree to review papers when invited (we expect this to be 2-3 per years
Contribute to the International Emerging Scholars Society (IESS)
Promote the journal:
- Consider submission of your own manuscripts where appropriate
- Encourage colleagues and peers to submit high quality manuscripts to the Journal
- Encourage colleagues and peers to review for the journal
- Increase awareness of the articles published in the journal in all relevant communities and amongst colleagues
We anticipate appointments to the board for a term of 2 years initially, renewable after review. We are unable to offer remuneration.
