Manuscript Withdrawal Policy
International Journal of Business and Management (IJBM), ISSN Online: 2815-9330
Occasionally, authors request to withdraw their manuscripts after submission, after acceptance, or even after publication. In some cases, such requests are made when the manuscript is only a few days away from publication or already accepted for publication. These actions cause significant inconvenience and result in a considerable loss of time and resources for the editors, reviewers, and the editorial staff.
Authorship Responsibility
All authors, including the corresponding and co-authors, must confirm the accuracy of the author list, authorship order, and the integrity and approval of the manuscript before submission. Any differences of opinion among the authors should be resolved prior to submission to ensure that all authors are in full agreement regarding the content and submission of the manuscript.
Authors are expected to adhere strictly to the Publication Ethics outlined on the IJBM website.
Submission Integrity
Manuscripts submitted to IJBM must not be under consideration by any other journal or publisher. It is unacceptable to withdraw a manuscript from IJBM because it has been accepted or is under review by another journal. Before submission, authors must ensure that all facts, data, and analyses presented in the manuscript are accurate and error-free. All authors must provide full consent for submission and publication in IJBM.
Manuscript Withdrawal Charges
-
Authors may withdraw their manuscript within 48 hours of submission without incurring any withdrawal charges.
-
If a withdrawal request is made after the peer review process has begun, after acceptance, during the production stage (e.g., Early Release or Ahead of Publication), or after online publication, a USD50 withdrawal penalty will apply.
-
Upon receipt of the withdrawal request and payment of the applicable withdrawal fee, the IJBM Editorial Office will issue an official Manuscript Withdrawal Letter to the corresponding author.
-
Withdrawal requests will only be processed once the applicable withdrawal charges have been fully paid to the IJBM Editorial Office.
As per IJBM policy, withdrawal charges are strictly enforced for any manuscript withdrawn after the peer review, acceptance, or publication stages.
